E-Auto Permit: In the national capital Delhi, the Transport Department has received more than 9500 applications for 4261 e-auto permits, out of which 300 applications are from women. This information was given by Delhi’s Transport Minister Kailash Gehlot. Gehlot said in an interview that the department will extend the last date for submission of applications for women applicants till all the 1406 permits reserved for them are taken.
Target to increase the number of e-autos on the roads of Delhi
The Delhi government on Monday started online registration for e-auto permits. The last date to apply for the permit is November 1. One-third of permits have been reserved for women. Gehlot said, “We have received more than 9500 applications till Wednesday night, of which 300 are from women. The number of women applicants has increased and we will extend the last date for submission of applications for them till all the 1406 applications reserved for them are taken. He is going. Earlier, Transport Minister Kailash Gehlot has described this exercise as an impressive step of the Delhi government.
