HubSpot is an all-in-one marketing toolkit that comes with a form builder, live chat, popups, analytics, and other marketing features for your website. The main appeal for HubSpot is their plugin seamlessly integrate with their powerful CRM and sales tools.
You can connect your forms, manage contacts, segment contacts into groups / lists, and see every interaction a visitor has had with your website. This gives you great insight for your marketing and sales performance.
If you’re using HubSpot’s email marketing and other sales tools, then using this form builder is a no-brainer.
Also keep in mind that HubSpot also easily integrate with other form tools in our list such as WPForms, Formidable, and more.
While you can use CRM, forms, live chat, and analytics for free in the HubSpot plugin, you have to upgrade to a Starter plan (starting at $45 per month) or above to use their other paid features which can get quite expensive for beginners.
HubSpot forms are not as powerful as WPForms or Formidable Forms, since they lack WordPress-specific features like custom user registration forms, login forms, post submission, and other advanced form features.
WPForms is a powerful WordPress contact form designed for even the most novice of website owners. Building online forms in minutes using one of the many pre-built WordPress form templates, this plugin provides all of the fields and features required to create your desired form. In addition, it easily integrates with your preferred email service provider and even configures to collect booking and order payments.
With WPForms, you can:
Utilize the drag and drop form builder
Take advantage of the instant notification feature for making quick responses to promising leads
Learn more about your users using intelligent geolocation data
In addition, WPForms also includes a number of useful add-ons such as the one designed to let readers submit their own content to your website.
Lastly, this beginner-friendly form plugin implements smart CAPTCHA and honeypot techniques for combating spam and allows for multi-page form creation. It streamlines your workflow with its entry management system, placing leads in one convenient location.
There is a free version available that includes many features needed to achieve effective, powerful forms for your WordPress site. However, there are also premium plans that unlock access to advanced capabilities.

In the end, you simply can’t go wrong with WPForms. It is one of the most feature-packed and user-friendly from builders on the market today.
4 Jetpack Forms
Jetpack Forms is part of the popular Jetpack plugin for WordPress. The form builder is included in the free version of the plugin. You get quite a few types of pre-built forms including:
The plugin integrates pretty well with the WordPress block editor. You can:
Build customized forms with blocks
Adjust all form settings right in your post or page editor
Integrate Akismet to stop contact form spam
It’s perfect for those who need just a simple form and already have the Jetpack plugin on their website.
However, a massive downside of using Jetpack to build your contact forms is the extra features that come pre-bundled with the plugin. While you can turn those extra features off, they can bloat your website unnecessarily and affect your site speeds.

The plugin also comes with built-in logic to protect against spam messages. You can also redirect site visitors to any post or page after their message is sent to keep them engaged with your content.
7 Contact Form by BestWebSoft
BestWebSoft offers a reliable contact form plugin that requires no configuration changes to begin receiving emails from your contact pages. It uses a traditional shortcode approach for displaying your form. So, you can create a new WordPress page and put the shortcode in there. Then, use the menu to add the new page to your main menu and use it to redirect visitors to your contact form. This plugin is for beginners, so the technical barrier is not that high.
BestWebSoft is a modern web development company, so expect your new contact form to be responsive to mobile and tablet devices, any screen size. Customize each form to consist of specific fields and requirements of your choosing. Make those fields mandatory or optional. Then, select many required forms that the user needs to fill out so that you can learn more about their intentions and their background.
You can enable features like file attachments to allow others to upload content through your form. Therefore, this contact form is great for sites that deal with customer support and anything of that nature. Spam protection is of high importance. Expect two different choices for captcha plugins: reCAPTCHA and BestWebSoft’s own Captcha plugin. Also, it’s easy to extend the plugin by using additional plugins.

8 Contact Form 7
Hey, I won’t lie to you here, even though I started this post questioning Contact Form 7’s position on the market, the fact is that it’s still one of the top solutions out there, and I just have to include it on this list too.
Contact Form 7 gives you access to an additional section in the WordPress dashboard called Contact. There, you can create new forms and adjust the existing ones.
Working with a form is moderately easy, I’d say. What you get is an interface based on HTML tags. So in order to tune your forms, you have to be careful not to mess up the structure. Not particularly difficult to do, to be honest, but not as simple as with the other plugins on this list either.
That being said, because you get to work with the HTML structure, you can also include custom elements in between your form fields (extra text or images), which can be quite handy in some cases.
Once you’re done tweaking your form, just take the shortcode and include it within some post or page. Here’s what the final contact form looks like:
Get this contact form plugin if: You want a contact form that gives you freedom when it comes to the possible adjustments. The HTML-based editing panel in Contact Form 7 delivers that.
9 Ninja Forms — FREE/$29+
Ninja Forms is a popular contact form solution that allows users to add functionality using extensions (add-ons). The core version of Ninja Forms is free to download and has more than a million downloads on WordPress.org.
You can create a new form using either a blank template or one of the many pre-made form templates, and you can then customise your form and adjust fields.
What’s really impressive, though, is how much is included in the free version of Ninja Forms. You’ll find many advanced fields that others charge for, as well as anti-spam options, form importing and exporting, and the ability to store submissions in your website database.
Comparing the premium features of Ninja Forms with other contact form plugins can be difficult. It features many unique extensions that add functionality you won’t find elsewhere, however this comes at a price. Unfortunately, determining the annual price is a little more complicated than it needs to be.
The $99-a-year personal license restricts usage to one website. It includes form-building essential functionality such as conditional logic, several email marketing integration extensions and support for PayPal Express payments. You also receive a 20% discount on any other extensions you buy.
Moving up to the $199-a-year professional license increases usage to 20 websites and gives you a discount of 40% on future extension purchases. It also includes plugin extensions for enhancing form functionality, Zapier integration and additional payment support for Stripe and Recurly.
The agency plan has no website usage restrictions and includes all plugin extensions, but, at $499 a year, it’s nearly twice the cost of agency alternatives such as Gravity Forms.
Plugin extensions can be bought individually at a cost of between $19 and $129 a year for a single license. If you only need one specific feature for one website, this can work out cheaper, but costs rise quickly when you need to use the extension on multiple websites.
I strongly recommend installing the core version of Ninja Forms and then reviewing the available extensions to see what you need.
Depending on your situation, you may find Ninja Forms to be a little cheaper than other premium contact form solutions or significantly more expensive. You may even find the free version does everything you need.
Unfortunately, if you do want access to multiple Ninja Forms extensions, it can be costly. Figuring out your total cost can be a pain too. You need to compare the cost of buying extensions individually, in a package or as a package together with other extensions bought on an individual basis.
At the time of writing, there was a 50% discount on all licenses. This reduces the cost of the personal, professional and agency plans to $49.50 a year, $99.50 a year and $249.50 a year, respectively. It’s not clear how long this promotion will last, but these discounts do make Ninja Forms’ pricing much more competitive.
10 Gravity Forms
Gravity Forms is a WordPress form builder plugin packed full of advanced features. And like Formidable Forms, they’re geared towards helping developers build forms that need more sophisticated options.
Gravity Forms is a powerful drag-and-drop form builder for WordPress that you’ll need to pay for.
Purchasing a license gives you access to add-ons that can help you build the following type of forms:
Customer order forms
Help is always readily available in support forums, FAQs, email, support, and their knowledge base.
There is no free version of Gravity Forms, so choosing this WordPress contact form plugin can be expensive compared to other plugins. But if you’ll be using it for several different websites, the benefits should soon outweigh the cost.
Gravity Forms Pricing
Gravity Forms pricing starts at $59 per year for a single website.
