Covid Vaccination: Till Friday, more than 105 crore doses of vaccines against Kovid-19 have been administered in India. This information was given by the Union Health Ministry. The ministry said that till 7 pm on Friday, more than 51 lakh (51,59,251) doses of vaccines have been given in the country, this number may increase further. Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya tweeted, “Congratulations to the people on India’s COVID19 vaccination campaign reaching new heights.”

Significantly, the introduction of Kovid-19 vaccination in the country started on 16 January with the giving of doses to health workers.

Due to 14,348 people being found infected with the corona virus in a day in the country, the total number of epidemic cases has increased to 3,42,46,157 while the number of patients under treatment has increased to 1,61,334.

According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry at eight in the morning, the death toll has risen to 4,57,191 due to the loss of 805 people including 708 patients in Kerala due to infection.

The ministry said that the daily cases of corona virus are less than 30,000 for the 35th consecutive day and less than 50,000 for the 124th consecutive day. The number of patients under treatment is 0.47 percent of the total cases of infection, which is the lowest since March 2020, while the rate of recovery from Kovid-19 is 98.19 percent.
