As a part of this MOU, Tata Motors will supply 3,500 XPRES T EVs to BluSmart Mobility.
Tata Motors has partnered with BluSmart Mobility for expanding its electric vehicle (EV) fleet in the Delhi-NCR region. Both companies have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) according to which Tata Motors will supply 3,500 Xpres T EVs to BluSmart Mobility. BluSmart Mobility has more than 2,50,000 app downloads and has completed more than 7,00,000 rides till date covering over 22 million kilometers on electric vehicles. Moreover, the company has also crossed the 10,000 EV sales milestone and this order will further add to its EV sales volume.

We recently crossed a key milestone of 10,000 EVs on road, which is a strong testament to how our innovative electric vehicles are resonating well with customers. This order will further strengthen our roadmap of making EVs mainstream.”

The all-new Tata Xpress-T electric sedan is essentially the Tata Tigor EV that’s been designed specifically for commercial use. It packs a high energy density battery of 21.5 kWh and 16.5 kWh with two ARAI certified range options – 213 km or 165 km respectively. It is offered in two trim options and gets single speed automatic transmission, dual airbags, antilock braking system (ABS) with electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD) as standard across variants. The Xpres -T EV can be charged from 0 – 80 per cent in 90 mins and 110 mins (for 16.5 kWh and 21.5 kWh respectively), using fast charging or can also be normally charged from any 15 A plug point.
